What happens during an express massage?

Your therapist will come to yours with a massage table, you'll just need to provide some towels.

Your treatment will begin with a consultation where you therapist will ask which areas they should focus on. You can choose up to two from: neck/shoulders, back/shoulders and legs/glutes.

The treatment duration includes your therapist’s setup and pack-away time.

It's surprising how effective a short massage can be for relieving neck, shoulder and back tension.

It's important to keep in mind that express massages don't cover the entire body. They are designed to focus on just one or two of your chosen areas. If you want your therapist to perform a full body massage, you can ask them to extend during your booking (subject to their availability).

Longer massages are typically more effective if your goal is to relieve muscle tension. For this reason, we advise limiting the number of areas your therapist treats during a 45-minute session to two, and extending the session for extremely tense muscles and deep knots.

No – try our specialist pregnancy massage instead, suitable from your second trimester.

Avoid getting a massage if you have a contagious skin disease, a fever, flu-like symptoms, or any other illness for the sake of your safety and the safety of your therapist. When they believe it will be harmful to you or them in any way, therapists have the right to stop seeing you.

If you have a medical condition and are unsure about scheduling a massage, speak with your doctor first.
