During your treatment
Your pro will start by making sure you’re comfortable, then they’ll prep your skin and apply hot wax in sections, removing it in quick, clean motions that minimise discomfort. They’ll cover the bikini area and back, leaving a neat strip of hair at the front.
They'll finish off the treatment with post-wax lotion, designed to soothe the skin and reduce inflammation.
Some therapists carry a treatment table with them and they’ll need at least 2x2m of floor space to set it up. Others prefer to set up using the furniture in your home. Check your therapist's bio when booking to find a pro that matches your preferences.

More info on Brazilian wax
Your first wax is likely to last about three weeks. But waxes do get more effective the more often you have them, and regular waxing can give results that last up to six weeks.
While a Hollywood wax removes all hair in the area, front and back, a Brazilian leaves a neat strip of hair at the front.
Right away is fine! As long as the water’s not too hot, it’ll help soothe your skin and wash away the sticky wax.
Make sure your hair’s at least a half-centimetre long (that’s at least three weeks’ growth) so the wax has something to grip. It’s also worth exfoliating to loosen any trapped hairs, just not on the day of your treatment.
Yes, this treatment is pregnancy-safe.

Some pros will bring a treatment table to your brow appointment, if they do, you’ll need to find a space that’s as big as a yoga mat. Check your pro's bio to find out what they bring.
