Your cleaner, your schedule
You pick your pro and your slot. As long as your pro is available, they'll be the same person every visit. If your pro can no longer make a session, we'll notify you straight away so you can reschedule or find another pro.

Easy to manage
You can skip or reschedule a single visit any time — just give us 24 hours' notice and there's no charge. Need to cancel the whole series? Get in touch and we'll sort it.

Payment
We’ll charge you for your first clean when you booking, and then 48 hours before each clean — not upfront for the whole series.

Your home access
When you book, you'll choose how your pro gets in — you can be home, share a lockbox code, or hand over a key directly. Key handovers are logged securely in the app.

No end date
Your recurring series runs until you decide to stop — there's no fixed term. If you'd like to set an end date, just get in touch and we'll take care of it.

A regular domestic clean is a standard clean. A standard clean keeps your home fresh and tidy, while a deep clean tackles built-up dirt and hard-to-reach areas.

Here's what you can expect from a standard clean, per room:

Kitchen

• Wiping down countertops and surfaces

• Clean kitchen sink and taps

• Wipe kitchen appliances externally fridge, freezer, oven, extractor, hobs

• Hoover and mop the floor

• Empty and re-bag bins

Add-on available: inside fridge (if empty and defrosted).

Living/Dinning room

• Wipe and light dust surfaces, skirting boards, lampshades, pictures

• Hoover any soft furniture (sofa/armchairs) and underneath the cushions

• Vacuum and mop of all open floor areas

• General light tidy up of living rooms

Add-on available: windows (inside)

Bathroom and Toilet

• Clean and polish bathtub/shower, taps, sink, and disinfect toilet

• Polish mirrors and glass screens

• Wipe down all surfaces, light switches, doors and skirting boards

• Mop and disinfect bathroom floor

• Clean and sanitise bathroom accessories (shelves, toothbrush holders, bathroom bins, toilet brush holders, etc)

Bedrooms

• Make the beds neatly

• Dust visible furniture surfaces

• Light tidying

• Quick vacuum or light mop

Currently, our cleaning services are only available in London and the Southeast.

Your Pro may carry out light tidying as part of the cleaning process, such as straightening cushions or moving a small number of items. However, standard or deep cleaning appointments don't include extensive tidying, decluttering, or organising. To help your Pro focus on cleaning, please ensure your home is reasonably tidy before they arrive.

Cleaning prices are hourly, based on the type of clean, how often you book, and your location. We'll recommend a number of hours based on your home's size and any add-ons — always adjustable. The cost of domestic cleaning services in London and the Southeast currently starts from £24.50/h for a standard clean, and £26.50/h for a deep clean, and varies depending on the slot selected. If you book a regular standard clean, you'd only pay £21.90/h. We offer transparent pricing breakdown during booking with no hidden fees, providing excellent value for high-quality home cleaning.

The number of hours you'll need depends on the size of your home, the rooms you'd like cleaned, and whether you're booking a standard or deep clean. During booking, we'll recommend a cleaning duration based on your selections, but you're free to adjust this up or down.

As a guide, a standard clean typically takes around 2.5 hours for a 1-bedroom home and 3 hours for a 2-bedroom home. For 3-bedroom homes, we recommend at least 3.5 hours, with additional time often needed for homes with multiple bathrooms.

Deep cleans take longer, as they include more detailed cleaning throughout the home. We typically recommend around 3 hours for a 1-bedroom home, 3.5–4 hours for a 2-bedroom home, and at least 4.5 hours for a 3-bedroom home.

If you're unsure, we recommend starting with our suggested duration so your cleaner has enough time to complete the tasks you've selected.

Equipment: Yes — you'll need to provide a vacuum cleaner, mop, and bucket. A lot of Urban cleaning pros get to you on foot, by bike, or by public transport, so carrying heavy equipment between jobs isn't practical.

Cleaning products: For both standard and deep cleans, you can supply your own general cleaning products, or ask your pro to bring theirs for an extra £2/hour (100% of which goes directly to your pro). Keep in mind that requesting this may reduce the number of pros available for your slot, since not everyone carries products with them.

For deep cleans specifically, your pro will always bring specialised products — like descaler and other deep-clean essentials — regardless of which detergent option you choose. This is included in the price.

If anything's missing when your pro arrives, they'll do the best job they can with what's available — but for the most thorough clean, make sure your equipment (and general detergents, if you haven't opted for your pro to bring their own) are ready beforehand.

Yes, all our domestic cleaners in London are fully vetted, and insured. We ask for 2 references from every pro we onboard. Clients rely on our professional domestic cleaning services for punctuality, attention to detail, and a consistently high standard of home cleaning, ensuring peace of mind in every appointment.

Yes. You can tailor your clean to suit your home and priorities.

When booking, you can add extra services such as cleaning inside the fridge, cleaning interior windows, or changing bed linen. These add-ons are priced based on the additional time required. (Interior window cleaning is included as part of a deep clean.)

You can also leave notes for your cleaner during booking to highlight any areas you'd like them to focus on. After checkout, you'll be able to upload photos and message your cleaner directly through the Urban app before your appointment, making it easy to discuss any specific requirements.

We understand that plans change. You can cancel or reschedule any appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment, or within 10 minutes of placing your booking. If you cancel with less notice, we'll charge a fee based on how much notice you give.

If you'd like to cancel or reschedule all appointments in a regular clean - you'll need to contact our customer support team. You'll only be charged a fee if your next appointment was due within 24h.

Yes — once your recurring series is set up, the same pro is booked for every visit.
